A musical fantasy in which a shipload of explorers sail upon the magical island of Fabula, inhabited only by women who are waiting for their men to return from war. Battle lines are drawn between explorers following their hearts and falling madly in love , and opportunists exporting a magical element from the island that could make them a fortune. However, the men discover that time has stopped since the men sailed off to war. The women have no idea that they are over a hundred years old, but when aches and pains return in full force, the explorers realize they must leave behind the loves of their lives in order to stop time, and keep them alive forever.
